How does this work?

When you shop on-line kindly inform the supplier/manufacturer that Finlay’s Ship to the Caribbean is your Freight Consolidator. You should give them the following information:

It is very important that you email us with the following information so that we will be able to accurately receive and ship your goods in a timely manner:

·         Name of supplier/manufacturer

·         List of Items to be shipped

·         Expected date of arrival

·         Name of Consignee*

·         Address of Consignee

·         Phone number of Consignee

·         Port of Entry

·         Are there more goods coming that we need to consolidate

* Consignee:
This is the  name under which the goods will be cleared through Customs.  If it is a company name, remember that you must have a TCC (Tax  Compliance Certificate).  (Jamaica only).

In-land Freight:
Unless special arrangements are made, we do not pay for In-land freight. In-land Freight is the charge from the supplier/manufacturer to our Warehouse in Lauderdale Lakes.  If you would like us to pay these charges we request that you find out the amount and pay this to any of our offices in South Florida, Kingston or Montego Bay.  Any shipment coming to us with In-land Freight will be returned unless we have been authorized to pay it on your behalf. Authorization can only be given if the funds have already been paid to one of our offices.

Follow-ups:
To follow-up on your shipment you can email us at Finlay@shiptothecaribbean.com .  This will save you from making costly long distance phone calls. We will provide you  with an update on your shipment.  If you would like us to follow-up with your supplier/manufacturer kindly  provide us with a toll free number or local number or email address, your order number or customer number and we can get the information as to the status of your order.

Procedure for online Shopping and Shipping:

  1. Make your purchases on line with your selected vendor
  2. Payment for the merchandise can be made through any of our offices in Florida, Kingston or Montego Bay in US dollars.
  3. Instruct the vendor to deliver to:  Finlay’s Ship  to the Caribbean

  1. Our receiving hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday .
  2. Email us with shipping instructions and estimated time of arrival
  3. Be sure to give us the correct name and Address of the person or company the goods are to be shipped to.  If you use a company’s name please ensure that you have a TCC (Tax Compliance Certificate which is required by Jamaican Customs)
  4. Freight Charges can be paid in Jamaica. There is a 10% charge for payments in Jamaican Dollars.  All other shipments are Prepaid.
  5. Local Handling Charges and Customs duty are payable in the respective island dollars.
